In addition there will be cost of maintenance of
Guards in Hong Kong and singapore while waiting for return ships,
also cost of housing, if any.
The question of housing and arranging for transfer
of Guards in Singapore and Shanghai to be gone into with
Inspector General of Police S. S., Mr. Fairburn, and
Commissioner of Police, Shanghai
It was further agreed that replacing should take
place ship by ship as men became available. The Military
Authorities meanwhile undertaking to notify the Inspector
